Strict regulations govern the foreign worker application process, encompassing:

Authorization limited to the Manufacturing, Construction, Plantation, Agriculture, and Services sectors (specific permissions may vary by country of origin).

Employers/companies must procure and secure foreign worker quotas from the Ministry of Home Affairs; One Stop Centre.

Applicants must fall within the age bracket of 18 to 45 at the time of application.

Possession of a certified PASS result for Immigration Security Clearance (ISC) from the applicant’s country of origin is mandatory.

Applicants must pass a medical assessment conducted by an approved medical center in their country of origin.

Applicants must not be barred from entering the country under Section 8 (3) of the Immigration Act 1959/1963.
