Document Language

  • All documents submitted must be in English or Malay.
  • If the required documents are in a language other than English/ Malay, the applicant needs to send the documents to a recognized language translation center for translation.
  • Applicants can also bring the original documents to us (in the hands of the agency), and we will find a translation center in Malaysia. Of course, there is an additional fee (estimated to be between MYR 100-300 per page, based on the original language, number of texts, and number of pages).

Document Attestation

  • All documents must be originals, or copies but must be notarized by a local qualified notary teacher, except documents proving kinship.
  • Documents proving kinship – such as marriage certificates and birth certificates: currently required to be notarized by the Malaysian Embassy/Consulate in the local area, or by Notary Public in Malaysia.

Medical Examination (Before Application and After Approval)

Before applying (Not applicable in New MM2H- June 2024 Version):

  • Applicants and their family members must undergo a medical examination at a local medical institution (clinic or hospital).
  • A general examination by a doctor is required, as well as some urine (drug) and blood tests (beta HCG, HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and Syphilis). Chest X-rays may also be done (Tuberculosis).
  • In addition to this, the applicant will need to have the doctor fill in the forms prescribed by the Malaysian government – these forms can be obtained from us.

After approval:

  • Similar to the above, but must be performed at a qualified medical institution (clinic or hospital) in Malaysia.
  • In addition to this, the applicant needs to have the doctor fill in the forms prescribed by the Malaysian government – these forms can be obtained from us (the forms are slightly different from those mentioned above).
